We have quite a few students who participate in our Brickz4Kids after-school club each week. Each week, the students use Legos to build mechanized items. It is a great time!
Several of our classes have had guest presenters from the Iowa Asian Alliance teach them about Japanese origami and calligraphy.
Several students participated in the Battle of the Books competition with other elementary schools from around the district. Our students represented Walnut Street School well.
Thanks to everyone who attended our Cultural Night on March 29th. We had workshops about Somolia, Mexico, India, Croatia and Hawaii. There were approximately 175 participants.
