Walnut Street School to perform at CelebrAsian May 26, 3:30pm. We will do Lion Dance, Fan dance, and group singing. All WSS students are invited to join the singing on the stage!

Summer is just around the corner, and that means more kids on bikes. Thanks to Bike World, the Walnut Street School staff and the PTO, kindergarten students now have a new appreciation for bike safety, and shiny new helmets to start the summer. The famous photographer Ansel Adams once said, “You don’t take a photograph, you make it.” And so it was that a group of 5th grade students at Walnut Street School – with the help of DMPS photographer Jon Lemons – learned how to make photographs, part of their research for ourW school’s upcoming International Baccalaureate Exhibition.
