International Baccalaureate Training:

Category I: Making the PYP Happen

Category II: The Exhibition

Teaching Experience:

I have been teaching full time since 2014 and I have been at Walnut Street School since 2015.

Family/ Hobbies:

I got married in 2016 and have two beautiful step children and a baby on the way. I love being with my family and spending time with my dogs. I have had many wonderful opportunities to travel the world, although I do not get the opportunity as often as I would like to anymore. My favorite parts about traveling are the people and the food. When I have down time, I enjoy napping, reading and watching the occasional movie. My favorite thing about teaching 5th grade is the sense of humor that many 5th graders develop. Everyday I get the opportunity to laugh and genuinely enjoy the people I am surrounded by. I also enjoy watching those little light bulbs light up when my students have learned something new.
