News Release: CASEY’S DONATION HELPS WALNUT’S CARING CLOSET
I am SO excited to finally share with you guys this news! Thank you Casey’s for the Cash for Classroom grant and believing in our mission here at Walnut Street.

Walnut Street School staff couldn’t be more excited about a $5,000 Casey’s Cash for Classrooms grant. Community School Coordinator Mariah Button says the school plans to use the funding to fill some gaps in their caring closet which provides food, clothing and hygiene items to students and families. Caring closets and food pantries are part of our district wide effort to ensure every student has the basics they need to begin learning in the classroom.
