WSS PTO Holiday Giving

This year give your child’s teacher and their class the gift of technology by donating to the WSS PTO Technology Fund by 12/20/13. The acquisition of 30 laptop computers and a mobile laptop cart will take our computer-to-student ratio from 1:12 to 1:6. This is a significant step in the right direction to becoming a more effective 21st Century School and will allow the school to more effectively and frequently use technology as part of the school’s instructional cycle, including guided instruction, independent practice and assessment.

Our goal is that 90% of WSS families donate before the end of the first semester. To date 20% of the $26,700 goal has been met. If approximately 200 WSS families donate $30 each, that would equal $6,000. Please consider a donation in any amount. If you know of a business or organization that might be willing to donate through a match, grants, or gift, please let the PTO Technology Fund Committee know.

Purchase a technology fund paper ornament from the WSS PTO Teacher/Staff Appreciation Committee to help show your support, after school in the lobby most days, Dec 9-13 and Dec 16-20 2:45-4:00 pm. This is a tax deductible contribution.
