Kindergarten JumpStart

Students who are entering kindergarten at Walnut Street School for the 2013-2014 school year are invited and encouraged to participate in our Kindergarten JumpStart program. The program will be on July 23 and 24 from 8:30-11:00 both days. Students will work with both kindgarten teachers, Ms. Beckstrom and Mrs. Leek. Students will participate in a variety of activities including community-building, routines, academics, and assessments.

Parents of incoming kindergarteners are invited to participate in our Kindergarten Parent Informational Session on July 23 from 8:45-9:30 to learn more about the logistics and procedures at Walnut Street School.

All Walnut Street School students will learn the class assignment at our Back-to-School Open House on Tuesday, August 20 from 5:00-6:00.
