Where is your food from?

Our 1st graders have been studying an IB Unit of Inquiry connected to the trans-disciplinary theme of HOW WE ORGANIZE OURSELVES. The central idea for the unit is: People consume food from around the world. The students have explored several lines of inquiry including: where food comes from, stages of food production, and transporting food. The students have created painting and written reflections after they learned about apples. They are learning lots and enjoying sampling foods throughout this unit of inquiry!
