IB Project by 3rd Graders

Our 3rd grade students have been working on an IB unit of inquiry connected to the trans-disciplinary theme of HOW WE ORGANIZE OURSELVES. The central idea for the unit is: Volunteer organizations perform a variety of functiions around the world. The students have learned about many volunteer organizations and also how they as students can take action in the world. In an effort to recognize and honor people who have volunteered, the students made items for different organizations.
