I have been teaching since 2007, I have been at Walnut Street since 2015. I have also taught in Colorado, Woden-Crystal Lake-Titonka school district (High School Art), Marshalltown School District (Elementary Art), at Seoul Foreign School in Seoul, Korea (Pre-IB/High School Art) and at Holy Family School in Des Moines (PK-8 Art). I have held many activity positions, including coaching high school cross-country.
I enjoy spending time with my husband, Mark and baby, Matteo, who was born last summer. We have two cats, Ella and Tob, that keep us on our toes. When I am not at school, I enjoy traveling the world, hanging out with my family, triathlon and my pursuing photography business.
